RULES & REGULATIONS

 

The safety of all participants is our top priority. We ask everyone to follow course rules, wear appropriate gear, and exercise good judgment on the trails. Our goal is to create a fun and challenging event while minimizing risks, so please look out for yourself and others, respect the environment, and report any hazards to event staff.

MOUNTAIN BIKE RULES

1. Safety Gear

  • Helmets are required at all times.

  • Gloves, protective eyewear, and pads are strongly recommended.

2. Trail Etiquette

  • Stay on marked trails at all times.

  • Announce yourself when passing (“On your left”).

  • Don't leave trash on the trails.

3. Equipment & Bikes

  • Bikes must be in safe working order (brakes, tires, chain).

  • If you have to stop to fix something, move off the trail.

4. Race Conduct

  • Follow course markings; cutting the course is prohibited.

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior may lead to disqualification.

  • Participants are responsible for their own fitness and preparedness.

5. Health & Liability

  • Participate at your own risk. Organizers are not responsible for injury, illness, or equipment damage.

  • Carry water and basic first-aid supplies.

5K RULES

1. Safety Gear

  • Proper running shoes are required. Barefoot running is not allowed.

2. Trail Etiquette

  • Stay on marked trails at all times.

  • Yield to faster runners when possible.

  • Don't leave trash on the trails.

3. Race Conduct

  • Follow all course markings; shortcuts are not allowed.

  • Respect other racers and volunteers. Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disqualification.

  • Participants are responsible for their own fitness and preparedness.

4. Health & Liability

  • Participate at your own risk. Organizers are not responsible for injury, illness, or personal property damage.

  • Carry water as needed.

RUCK RULES​

 

1. Safety Gear

  • Proper rucking shoes are required. Barefoot rucking is not allowed.

2. Ruck Gear

  • Ruck Packs or Weighted Vests are allowed.

  • 20 lb. minimum weight (excludes food or drink) for women.

  • 30 lb. minimum weight (excludes food or drink) for men.

  • No weight handoffs. 

3. Trail Etiquette

  • Stay on marked trails at all times.

  • Yield to faster ruckers when possible.

  • Don't leave trash on the trails.

4. Ruck Conduct

  • Follow all course markings; shortcuts are not allowed.

  • Respect other ruckers and volunteers. Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disqualification.

  • Participants are responsible for their own fitness and preparedness.
