The Spring R&R event will utilize a mix of the Polly Ann Trail and Gravel Roads and feature 4 timed race events to challenge riders and runners of all abilities.
A 15 Mile Gravel Grinder Bike Race
A 35 Mile Gravel Grinder Bike Race
A 5k Running Race
A 10k Running Race
And… for those of you who really want to test your skills and endurance, make it a dual event by choosing to race in both the Gravel Grinder Bike Race and the 5k or 10k Running Race!
These events will be timed by Newton Timing & Race Services.
Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Gravel Grinder Race finishers from each timed category -and- an overall Male & Female for both the 5k and 10k Races after their respective events.
Other (non-timed) Event features include.
Beer & Beverage Tent
Bring the whole family and enjoy racing followed by a beer tent and food vendors.
All proceeds generated from the Spring R&R will be designated for use by the Stone Soup Food Pantry, an all volunteer group working together in the fight against hunger in Lapeer County.
Stone Soup Food Pantry distributes bakery, produce, meat, dairy and non-perishable food to local food pantries throughout Lapeer County.
Crank 4 A Cause and the Spring R&R would like to thank the Village of Dryden, Dryden Township, Dryden Police Department and The Friends of Polly Ann Trails for allowing us to host this awesome event.
